powerful, unforgettable readings of the Bible

You can’t follow Jesus if you don’t know what he says.

Becoming a Christian is easy. Following Jesus is hard.

The American church is starving—not due to lack of inspiration, but for lack of obedience. We hear sermons, scroll past soundbites, and nod at truth without ever cracking open the Bible for ourselves. We’ve outsourced our faith to influencers and forgotten how to sit with God’s Word.

So we shelve it. And when life hits hard, we respond just like everyone else—because we don’t know what Jesus actually said. And if we don’t know His words, we can’t follow His way.

It’s time to change that. The abundant life isn’t found in vague belief—it’s found in knowing and obeying the Word.

Hear it. Love it. Live it.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

how to use an outloud bible presentation in your church or event:

Kick off your series of your Bible book study with a dramatized reading of the book.

Generate excitement and increase engagement for your upcoming series with an event that introduces key themes and aids in understanding. If you want to introduce new music for the series, we can coordinate with your praise team to integrate songs. Supplemental resources for further study are available for your people, as well.

Conference and festival main session openers, morning Bible reading sessions, and breakouts.

Point your attendees back to the Scriptures that inspired your conference or event theme. Begin main sessions with short readings of God’s Word, or offer breakout sessions that encourage and demonstrate reading the Bible out loud.

Celebrate the finale of your Bible book series with an engaging church-wide event.

You’ve taught through an entire book over the course many weeks. Congratulations! Let’s put it all together into one memorable service. Your people will recall your various teachings as they hear it all in rich, engaging context again. Your praise team can lead your people in some of their favorite songs of the past weeks, and even highlight testimonies from your congregation to share what God has done through the series!

Need a week off? We offer pulpit relief with a memorable experience with Scripture.

Rest knowing your congregation is in good hands as they listen to the inerrant Word of God. We can craft a presentation to fit within your standard service, and coordinate with your praise team and other volunteers, so you can take a much-needed break!

John, part 2

Jesus’ Passion Week, as told in John’s Gospel, chapters 11-20. To understand what he did, we must understand what he wants. Experience the emotion and urgency of Jesus’ last week before his death.

Powerful musical underscoring and interludes make this presentation perfect for Passion Week, Good Friday, or any time you need a good reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice.

What serves your people best? We can adapt any book or portion of a book from the Bible to come alongside your church or event.

Let’s talk about how to ignite the spoken Word of God in your gathering.

Joseph

One of the most dramatic narrative arcs in the Bible simply begs to be read out loud. Through Joseph’s story of betrayal, favor, injustice, dreams, and fulfillment, we are struck by the eternal truth that nothing can ruin God’s plans.

With a duration that fits nicely in any Sunday morning service, this presentation is surefire way to spark Biblical wonder in your people

What to expect (FAQ)

  • We have permission to read from the New Living Translation (NLT) in our live presentations. The NLT was, in fact, written to be read out loud, and its conversational tone and approachability is unmatched.

  • The presentation opens with a brief, biblical explanation of “What is public reading of the Bible, and why does it matter?”, as well as any context of the book or passage to aid in understanding.

Then, we read the Bible—not dryly—but with the emotion, intent, and approachability with which it was written (see “What is a ‘dramatized reading’?” below)

Musical underscoring and occasional interludes throughout give time to pause and reflect.

After the 45-60 minute presentation, we host a 15-30 minute talk-back discussion and offer free resources to point people to their next steps in their walk with Jesus and their own understanding of Scripture.

  • It’s not a play, a drama, or a recital. We call it “dramatized reading” for two reasons:

    (1) First, it is a reading. We hold the Bible in our hands and read the words as written. In the past, we performed memorized books and passages, and the feedback often focused on the memorization, like “Oh, I could never do that!” And while we believe memorization is important and possible, we ultimately want people to focus on the message of the Bible itself and say, “Oh! I can do that!”

    (2) Second, when we say “dramatized,” we are trying to avoid two unhelpful extremes when it comes to reading the Bible out loud: “dramatic” for the sake of some emotional experience, or “dry” for the sake of some “straight reading.” We seek to portray the emotion, urgency, and mission of the text as faithfully as we can, based on the context and intent of the author.

  • Yes! It is important to us that we offer these experiences for free to churches and church groups.

We depend on God’s radical generosity through individuals, so we invite donations after the presentation.

We are based in New England. Events requiring overnight travel are subject to travel expenses.

For conferences or other events where a talk-back or breakout is not possible, we may request a stipend. Please contact us for more information.

  • We would be honored to share God’s Word with your people in this way!

Please contact us and tell us what you have in mind, and we look forward to serving you and your group.

  • Yes, schedule permitting, we can prepare a customized presentation to fit your church series or conference theme.
